Nigerian/Swiss citizen with over 35 years of experience in international security, strategies and development. Studied in Switzerland, Norway and the United Kingdom. Started an international career as Research fellow with the United Nations Research Institute for social Development (UNRISD) from 1989 to 1992. Conducted research and studies on social-economic and political impacts of IMF Structural Adjustment Policies on groups in Africa and Latin America. Served as UNITAR Special Fellow and Research consultant on international energy and environmental issues. Developed UNITAR International Programme in Energy and Environmental Management, developed environmental impact assessment tools for both national and international oil and gas companies. Work on issues of climate change and SDGs programmes/project linkages for prompt reporting. Established UNITAR Office in Nigeria and developed world class capacity development programmes for both public and private sectors institutions. Specialize in tailor-made manpower and skills development for employability. A proven expert in partnerships formation and resources mobilization strategies. Designed and facilitated over 50 national and International seminars/conferences. Negotiated over 20 partnership and collaborations for development projects and raised over 50 million dollars for UNITAR capacity building /strengthening projects.
