
Professor Paul Agu Igwe

Professor Igwe hold the position of Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Programme Leader BA (Hons) Business with Entrepreneurship at Lincoln International Business School (LIBS), University of Lincoln, UK. Also, he is a Visiting Professor at Durban University of Technology (DUT) Durban, South Africa; Visiting Professor at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria; and Visting Professor at Coal City University, Enugu, Nigeria. He is an External Examiner of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Teesside University (Business School), UK. Prof Igwe’s expertise includes Entrepreneurship, Business management, Strategic Management, Innovation management, and Business Environment, Strategic Leadership, Regional Polices, Transformational Leadership, and Strategy Making.
Prof Igwe is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and Fellow of Higher Education Academy. He is a founding member of UNESCO Chair on Sustainable Development and Foresight at University of Lincoln. He has led several funded projects including British Council – Gender Equality Partnership programme and British Council – Innovation for African Universities (IAU) programme. The IAU network comprises 80+ organizations (from the UK and Sub-Sharan African), 300+ academics and impacting 7000+ students and graduates.
Prof Igwe have published over 80 articles in internationally top ranked journals, about 12 book chapters and 4 books. Prof Igwe founded two professional associations that reach across international Higher Education faculty, including Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Higher Education (IE4HE) and Women in Higher Education Leadership (WIHEL) with 4000+ academics, professionals and students’ membership.
